The Bakehouse story

“Growing up I spent weekends baking with my grandma. That's where it started. Over the years it became something I did for anyone who'd eat it, family, friends, colleagues, anyone with a birthday.

The idea of doing it properly had been sitting in the back of my head for a long time. It took a work sabbatical to finally find out if it had legs. The first market was Kingsday 2024. People bought things, came back, told their friends. That was enough to keep going.” - Will Barlow, Owner.

Barlow Bakehouse is based in Haarlem. We don't have a shop you can walk into. For now you'll find us at markets around the city, or you can order online and we'll ship to your door.
